The idea behind the Shovel Squad came from a familiar Maine winter problem: the parking lot was plowed but the sidewalks, steps, and entrances were still buried. Until those walking surfaces are cleared, the property isn't truly done.
Plow contractors already have a big job to do with equipment too large for pedestrian areas. So we created a crew dedicated to that missing piece. We work alongside plowing contractors by handling the labor-intensive areas to keep their routes moving and their properties fully serviced.
Based in Southern Maine, we also bring that same dependable care to homeowners who want clear, accessible walkways all winter. Commercial or residential, our method is simple: show up, clear it right, and make sure every walking surface is ready for those who use it.
